As we move down the Fox Lake river away from the
launch our first public shore spot we come to is
the Bridge. Before opening day you can catch
crappies all day here! Early spring bass and pike
hang out along the shore lines and all year there
seems to be a few big fish hanging out under the
bridge.
After the bridge our next spot is the Fox Lake Dam. Walleyes, Bass, Pike and even musky are found here in the spring. Late summer this place came be a great place to take a kid for bull heads. You can also fish above the dam (in the river) lots of people crappie fish this area early in the year.

I only spent 5 minutes at the bridge in hopes of
getting a picture for this website!
This bass was caught under the bridge on a chomper.
we drifted out for the picture. Guys on shore could
have easily casted to this fish. But they where all
casting right in the middle of the river and
getting skunked.
This picture shows the public fishing area. dont
stand on the platform - I have seen guys break off
too many fish trying to lift them up!
This is one of my favorite pics! My son and I had
one of our best days ever that day. We caught over
50 fish and no one else was around. There was about
30 guys down river not catching anything!
Our next spot brings us to the Fox Lake Dam. There
are way too many big fish in this spot that are
trapped in a small area. Too many careless
fisherman are harming this fish. Next year I am
hoping to lead a Musky rescue below the dam.
