I have only shore fished this spot a few times and I had success on pan fish and bass. This spot needs to be fished very early in the year or very late in the year. Fish looking for warm water in the spring will move into the river in great numbers.

This bass was caught here along the shore while waiting to launch the boat.

I caught this musky while fishing for bass. I was in a boat but flippin right up against the shore with a pig n jig. I have also caught big pike here on spinner baits.

To get to this location just go into the small town of Fox Lake and turn right when you see the river. This will take you right to the town park and a great public fishing place
