Well my first tournament of 2008 is out of the way. I finished 8th out of 26 guys. The conditions where tough to say the least. I give major props to the guys that brought fish in! I didnt think anyone would catch anything. We pre-fished 3 days before the event. We put in our time and studied the lake- 3 days before the tourney we crushed them! I had one of the more productive fishing days of my life and I was confident I could actually place n the top 3 of the event. Then out of nowhere the cold moved in. We went from 70 degrees air temps to 30s! The water temp dropped 15 degrees and the fish had lock jaw. I downsized, i fished slower i did everything I could and I ended up with this lil 16 .5 bass. Not a real big one but for that day it was the fish of 10,000 casts.
