We are at the peak of fishing the rivers right now. Lots of Eyes are being caught along the Beaver Dam River. A small hook and minnow around the eddies right around the banks seems to me the trick. When the flow goes down a little 1/8-1/4 ounce jig heads and twister tails will catch walleyes in the current. Here is a picture of 15 year old Grant with his first buffalo! We had these guys on almost every cast below the lowell dam.
