rain rain go away!

James Talavera caught this nice largemouth on a buzz frog early last saturday morning before the tornado sirens went off.
The late spring has made fishing tough right now on Fox Lake with few bass and pike being caught. I believe the fishing will improve as the weeds grow in the jug. The recent rain has water levels so high I cant even launch my boat! At the WAPTA Oakachee lake tournament this weekend we fished for 2.5 hours in pouring rain and lightning!

As soon as water levels go down river fishing will be amazing! I also think flippin jigs tight into cover will produce numbers and big fish this weekend.
